3 Ton Forklift Rental with Ferry Global
A 3 ton forklift is the standard size for palletised goods: loading and unloading trucks, de-stuffing containers, and moving stock around warehouses and yards. Ferry Global Logistics rents 3 ton forklifts in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE, delivered and collected on our own trucks.
Typical 3 ton jobs
Container de-stuffing
Unloading palletised cargo from 20ft and 40ft containers at warehouses.
Truck loading
Loading and offloading pallets at dock levels and yards.
Warehouse moves
Moving stock between storage areas and dispatch.
Is 3 ton the right size?
Choose 3 ton for standard pallets and general cargo. If single items are heavier, longer or awkward — machinery, bundled steel, big crates — step up to a 5 ton.

Frequently asked questions
What can a 3 ton forklift lift?
Up to its rated 3 tons at the standard load centre. Long or off-centre loads reduce that, so send the load dimensions if it is not a standard pallet.
Is a 3 ton forklift enough for container unloading?
Usually yes for palletised cargo. Tell us the heaviest pallet and whether the container is at ground level or on a trailer.
What forklift sizes do you rent?
3, 5, 7, 10 and 16 ton forklifts, delivered and collected on our trucks across all seven emirates.
What capacity forklift do I need?
Choose on the heaviest load, how high it must be lifted and where its centre of gravity sits. As a rough guide, 3 ton suits standard pallets; 10 and 16 ton suit steel and heavy industrial loads. Send the details and we confirm.
